This week is all about social media… to start you off, here’s a diagram showing an example flow of a social media campaign below. There are so many options!

Myspace is trying to claw back lost friends
I remember when I joined MySpace about 5 years ago, it was all ‘NEW’ and the only real social networking site out there. It was even purchased by Rupert Murdoch for $580m! Now it’s user base is declining and it’s time to ditch the grungy look for a new clean image with less messy ad space and a ‘realtime feed’.

Geo-location isn’t going anywhere, but there’s no guarantee that any one of the current networks will still be with us in 2013. Gowalla,FoursquareYelpFacebook Places — we don’t know what’s going to stick, because most of us have no idea what they are for. Here’s one with a favourable review and also just a clearer idea of what is good about them.
